I know he was traveling with Jr on his Asian trip and not in Washington, so that might have something to do with it.
Rumor has it he's on his way out. Would be suprised if it happened before the end of the year, but who knows.
Makes sense - it just seemed weird. I thought of the vacation idea or that it was because Bush was travelling, but it seemed odd that it had never happened before. But that makes sense if he's travelling with Bush!
He was never as good as Ari Fleischer... I actually enjoyed watching Ari's briefings. I do believe he may be on vacation though?
With all the heat he's had to take from the press I hope it's somewhere nice and cool where he can relax for a while...
McClellan should be ready to leave. I don't envy the guy at all, considering all the BS he's had to dish out. I hope he comes back to Texas to help his mother with her campaign for the Republican nomination for governor. She's running against Perry, and Strayhorn is an decided improvement. Of course, it'd be nice for a Democrat to win, but unlikely next time Keep D&D Civil.
It would be nice for an independent to win. Kinky has some great ideas, especially concerning education.
