[WSJ] Bush Approval Rating Falls Again

    You remember it, because you're lying to yourself. His approval rating was declining until 9-11-01, and then he lucked out and parlayed it into four more years. But it was never this low.

    He's done. Stick a fork in that b****, cause he's done politically as far as being anything other than a caretaker. He doesn't have the strength or intelligence to recover, a la Clinton or Reagan.

    Last month, Harriet Meyers did a number on the other half of his constituency. Now his rating has fallen along with rising interest rates and the cooling real estate sector.

    Has the money high worn off?

    I wonder why Condoleeza is getting such a free ride; perhaps people are letting her off the hook and not holding her accountable for War issues, based on the assumption that she has little control over the Administration's Iraq decisions. Except, of course, that she was Bush's Foreign Policy Advisor during his first election campaign, and National Security Advisor during the Iraq War. She was also Bush Senior's Russian advisor during the last throes of the Cold War, so she's a family friend and probably a bit more influential and responsible than people understand.
