I know there are a ton of people out there jumping off the rockets bandwagon already. I think this losing isn't such a negative. 1) It makes our role players get more comfortable in a new system because they are going to have to step it up to match mcgrady's production.2) We were the 5th seed last year and had to face Dallas in one of the best 1st round series I have seen in a lonnnngg time. Wouldnt it be better to be the 6th or 7th seed come play off time so we can knock out the 2 or 3 seed with relative ease ?

I am just afraid of what tim breaux said, that when you lose, you come out and try so hard, sometimes it's too hard...ala Francis. As long as they can come out and play SOUND ball, and play smart, i think they are ok. but there is a sense of urgency, and I feel some of the players are rushing their play too much.

I wouldn't say people are jumping off the bandwagon, but rather venting their frustration. I'm sure our role players a learning, but I think the most valuable thing coming out of the last couple of games is the playing time for Head. Mark my words (like I've said in numerous posts), when he gets consistent playing time he WILL become a solid player!
