ok ive been watching us play for the past couple of years and i noticed something. OUR FANS SUCK! they have no enthusiasm.. i remember when the whole crowd would be yelling DEFENSE DEFENSE in the first quarter! now its all quiet and we havent had a sell out game .... i think i know why we play so good in away games.. and suck so much at home games. idont even remember the last time we scored more than 100 points at home.. but seriously we need the toyota center to get LOUD! its so quiet.. its not as bad as atlanta but still! we arent as bad of a team as they are!

ps. what ever happend to "whose ball is it?" "rockets!".

True fans are in the upper deck. They're the ones that keep the spirit alive. What you see in the lower box are socializing beer-drinkers business executives who are just there to unwind from work. They show up late and go home before the game ends.

Of course not all of them but that's always been the case.

Complaining on a message board will not accomplish anything. Buy a ticket, go to the game, make as much noise as you want. If you can't afford it, stand outside TC and beg people to cheer. Complaining on a board of die hard fans does absolutely nothing.

    1. The crowd on Friday was good. When things got close in the second half the crowd was loud. The defense chant was one of the loudest I remember at a regular season game.
    2. It's not like the Rockets are doing much to get the fans into the game. You can't really blame the average fan for not yelling and screaming when the team is down 13 points in the second quarter.
    3. The Rockets don't make the kinds of plays that fire up the crowd a lot. E.g. big dunks or clutch threes.
    4. I don't think it would matter how loud we yelled, this team would still probably lose most of the games the way it is playing right now.
    5. As Kenny already pointed out, buy a ticket and go cheer.
