Good news, I'm going to this game with hopes of a win tonight. The bad news is that I have a losing record for games i attend. Not sure what my exact record is but i know i been to more games where we lost than won. Very confident that this will change tonight. Anyone else care to share your rockets record when you attend the game?
2-1, I've only been to three Rockets games, TMac was hurt when I went to the Minnesota game last year.
I'm going to the game tonight. Detroit is on the top of their game, and we're struggling. Gonna have a couple of drinks before the game cause this one could get ugly....
Let me see for the last 3 years, I've been watching the dregs of the league pound on us... At atlanta 1-2 At charlotte 0-1 Thinking about bringing my bad luck to the Toyota Center this year.
1-1 When the Rockets came here to Mexico, I were there. 1993: Lost to the Knicks 1997: Won against the Mavs
I also used to think that I am bad luck for the Rockets. Whenever I would listen to the game on 610 they would lose. I was so superstitious that I would not even turn it on even for a sec. Anyways, I forced myself to stop believing in all that crap. Its not as if the Rockets won a great deal if I didn't listen to it either. The last decade of Rockets basketball has been sorry and its not because any of you are going to the game or because I am listening to the game or because someone's grandma farted right at jumpball.
It's not on us! It's dem boys! They need to snap out of whatever pity party the are in and play some basketball! Who sucked all the fun out of being a Houston Rocket? Van Grumpy!?
I'm not goint to blame Gundy. I did last year and I have learned my lesson. I believe Gundy is an excellent coach. Our players are getting wide open looks. That is all we can ask of Gundy or any coach. The players are just not knocking down the shots. It those shots start falling then all of a sudden this is a very exciting team to watch.
I am 0-1 this year and 1-1 all time at Toyota Center. I had a pretty good record at the Summit/Compaq Center. I usually only go to games that I think we will win. The worst game I ever saw was game 2 of the Phoenix series back in '95. We had a 20 point lead in the fourth quarter and managed to blow that one. I have the weekend six pack ticket package so I will be at tonight's game. I'm hoping my record this year will improve to 1-1.
My main reason for attending games is to witness a win. I feel like I don't get my money's worth if the team loses. Even if its a great game from both teams, all that doesn't matter if we end up on the losing side. Watching them lose on TV is bad enough, but being there in person is even worst.
I'm 0-1 this yr But.. it'll be 1-1 after tonight. Actually, ever since the stros moved to Enron/Minute Maid I've been to about 2-3 games a yr and we lost every time!!! But i got to go to game 3 against st louis this yr and we won so i dont believe in that crazy stuff anymore.
Probably about 7-4 (at The Summit/Compaq Center & TC), but I'd have to go back and look at the ticket stubs over the years. Here in Dallas it's like 1-4. Contemplating going on 11/22.
