Gilbert has always been an amazing talent. This year though, I think, he is figuring out how to play smart; when to get everyone involved and when to take over the game. I have been very impressed by him so far.
i agree offensively he can score 35 on you anynight. however, he turns the ball over a lot and is awful on defense. he's a very good player but is not a point guard. he's a lot like steve francis. i would't call him special, just a guy who can light it up and create some shots for teammmates.
Yeah, he sure is "special," so special that he and the rest of the Wizards will be riding the short bus back home after an early playoff exit for years to come...
What did they say about people living in glass houses not throwing chickens at..... With guards like ours, I would just keep my trap shut.
Arenas is already one of the premier players in my book, offensively, he can unstoppable at times. As for the SF comparison, I'd honestly take Arenas over him and Steve is still one of my favorite players. Arenas is 3 times the shooter Francis will ever be.
read an article about him in my son's SI for Kids. seems like a great guy. he's on my fantasy team this year, so i'm paying more attention to him than i have in years past. i'm very impressed, so far.
