Why doesn't JVG play Stromile more? You can obviously tell that he makes life easier for both T-Mac and Yao when they are out there together.
should have seen more PT tonight. i thought he was playing well, because he was being agressive and forcing the issue. not just running the motions like the rest of our offense. he tried to make something happen and got it done a couple of times. my only prob with stro is that he kind of rebounds in chunks and not on a consistent basis throughout the game. only 2 rebounds tonight...
That was sick how he hung on the rim looking around after he jammed it!! Feels nice not to have this done against us. I'm sure if he was on another team everyone would be upset if he had done that against the Rockets.
JVG isn't happy with the way he is picking up the defensive rotatations early in the season. I'm sure this will continue to improve and he will continue to get more mins.
He'll get more mins when he has a better understanding of the defense. He's lost most of the time with our defensive schemes
Dunk is nice, but it's the set play that let it happen. Watch for Barry to set the pick against Stro's defender.
If he didn't pass up that wide-open jumper from just beyond the foul line which caused the refs to call a 3 secs on Deke, he would have been left in longer. That happened midway through the 4th. He's getting there.
