If by now, no one knows this for a fact, I just culled this from the chronicle: Drew finds his shot In Tuesday's game, for the first time this season, Bryce Drew hit more than half his shots. The second-year point guard went 5-for-9 from the floor, including 4-for-6 on 3-pointers. "Every game I feel better out there," Drew said. "I'm more and more relaxed, and I know where I need to be out on the floor." Rockets coach Rudy Tomjanovich said: "I was glad to see him hit those shots, because he is a good shooter. He did so well in our summer program; ran the team real well." Drew was the Rockets' No. 1 draft pick in 1998 after averaging 17.7 points for Valparaiso University. He ranks sixth in Division I history with 364 career 3-pointers. -- JONATHAN FEIGEN and ALAN TRUEX
Drew knows where he needs to be on the floor? I find myself screaming at my poor television. "Drew where are you? You have no idea do you?" Like ol' gran'dad would say "that boy looks like a chicken with his head cut off." Someone (I apologize for not giving due credit) said in a post that Drew had a 'Deer in the headlights look'. Anybody who has seen him on the court now knows why driving around using the Q-Beam to freeze a deer in his tracks and then nailing him with a hunting rifle is illegal. ------------------ The truth is out there... but not in the post.
I say it will be closed at 9:25am. (Damn ... I was close though ) [This message has been edited by Clutch (edited November 24, 1999).]
