Rice Football ends nation's longest losing streak!

    I was actually in the halftime show. I was back playing in the drumline for this game, since it was Homecoming. Glad you could figure out what it was about. I heard there were problems hearing the script over the sound system, though it was audible on the field.

    Behind the visiting team is the student section. Usually it's the Rally Club that goes up front... though they were dressed a little differently this time, so who knows. There are also organizations like "Rowdy Owls" that started after I graduated and I'm not sure where they fit in. The traditional Rally Club, I believe, has to finish off a keg before they come to the game. The girls would have their own, called the Sally Club, and would wear pink overalls. I didn't see Sally this time, though I didn't look too hard.

    Then find yourself here, for I don't know exactly what a "drumline" is. I heard the entire script. Funny lines about deans, credit, office of Admissions, etc. :D

    My girls enjoyed the game and I think we will go again to the next 4-tix, 4-pizzas and 4-sodas discount... ;)

    What are those white pride stickers on the back of the Rice helmets of? Is it the owl holding the crest logo?

    Well, if anyone's bored enough to want to know, see the spirit line on the right... there are a bunch of drums. To the right of them are those of us holding snare drums (that are not visible because of the angle). This is right about where a guy in blue is walking behind the spirit line. We're right to the right of the people with multiple drums (quads). I'm the tall girl with a long fluffy ponytail. Just wanted to prove I actually exist.

    Another selout crowd at Rice Stadium, I see.
