Why do we get so frustrated at the beginning of the season? In the third game of the season, third game, there were boos for the rockets. Thats pretty sad.

I think the answer is Sura. Last season, our PGs sucked, and they suck now too. Alston has been bad on defensive and cant hit anything. Head has great defense and can hit great from the arc, but now that he is earning minutes, he has started to take a lot of shots, some really bad shots. That kid is Mike James, except he doesnt finish. Neither point gaurd has really been impressive yet.

    You better shut your hole,idiot!
I can make the same arguement by switching yao and tmac in your statement. tmac did make some sub-optimal decisions today.
I know you're a big tmac fan, but who cares if you're a moron.

This team will achieve some consistency once Rafer starts playing up to his potential. We saw flashes of his abilities in the preseaon. He certaintly has the tools to be a very effective point guard for this team, and I truly believe he is capable of averaging 8 or 9 assists a game.

Additionally, he is a proven shooter so his shot will eventually come around. He put up and made a lot of 3 pointers for Toronto last year. Right now his entire game appears to be out of sync.

So in conclusion, give him some time and lay off the "he sucks" threads for now. I'll be the first to throw him in the fire if he is still playing like this in a month or so, however, I don't believe that will be the case.

Go bact to where you signed up and check the box to receive game notes. I did a few days ago and get game notes before every game. I'd send you the link, but I erased the email. :)

Is it just me it seems like yao cant defend those jump shooting centers very well, e.g. Brad Miller, PJ Brown, Zo who sank the jumper to make it 6points again and Blount. and everytime any teams fronted yao... he is basically done for the night. I just dont understand this. JVG should let him shoot 17ft face up jumper in this situation. I will take yao's jumper anyday than 90% of the rox guards' jumper.

I totally agree...before this game the losses we had were pretty close for most of the game.

The thing all those games had in common [other than missing T-Mac] is that Rafer was off his game, shooting and passing.

Once he comes around and gives us about 12ppg and 7apg, then we will look a lot different.

So you are blaming Yao, who played all but 2 of Rox games in his ENTIRE career for not carrying the load for a worn out Tmac? I don't blame Tmac for his injury, but is it fair to blame Yao for losing the game when his teammate is not able to play at full strength?

The fact is, none of the players played well tonight, not Yao, not Tmac. If you want to blame someone, blame them ALL!

Fans in lala land argued about who was more important for three championships, and some so-called fans here fought over whether it was TMac or Yao's fault that we are 2-4. Great, that's just great, I have only one thing to say, "fans" like that don't deserve a winning team.

When the team were shotting at 30+%, it's hard to get any assist.

Although, he actually may be the cause of many problems in professional sports today, to blame Terrell Owens for this loss, is ridiculous. :D

    Number of the game:

18: Number of shots taken by Yao and TMac combined.

I'm tired of watching entire offensive sets where Yao doesn't touch the ball, I'm tired of watching Yao set picks all the way out on the 3-pt line and running around for nothing. Yao at 8-10 feet away from the basket is better than any of our shooters right now.

seems like everytime i tune into a rockets game, their shooting less t han 40% from the floor. not going to win many times doing that :(
