Can someone explain what I'm missing in his new commercial. Fall down seven times. Get up eight times. Huh?
Are you serious? Is this a joke? It's showing that no matter how many times you get knocked down you get up to battle again and again...heart of a champion.
But why is he getting up 8 times if he only fell 7 times? Is he r****ded? Or they could have said, "Fall down 7 times, get up 8th time." Even that would make him r****ded though. You would figure by the 3rd or 4th time, he would have realized that this is just not working out and would ask someone on his team to pick him up. If I saw my kid fall down 7 times and not pick himself up, I would be like, "Geez...that's one stoopid mofo I burdened this world with."
How do you get up more times than you fall down? Do you start out down for some reason? Is there some reason you would need to fall down 7 times?
The commercial looks so blatantly fake and low budget when he looks at the camera and gets up. I was also confused by the commercial's slogan...I guess he dunks on someone once out of every seven times he gets knocked down.
please elaborate. Everyone talked about Carmelo vs. Darko. The real prize that draft (after LeBron) was CLEARLY Wade. Sure he doesn't have the prettiest shot, and others jump higher. Dude knows how to play and is fearless.
He's good, no doubt, but he's easily the most overrated player in the game today. The fact that most media types were ranking him better than Kobe last year stands testament to our "what have you done for me lately?" culture and blatant disregard for the past.
Bingo. If you fall down seven times, you get up seven times. Where does the extra one come from? Fall down seven times. Get up seven times. Fall down seven times. Get up eight times. That makes no sense.
Exactly if you fall down seven times you get up seven times. The eighth time is when you're standing up to begin with. It's an old chineese proverb...there is nothing complicated about it.
Wade is a stud and will be starting in the all-star game this year. But his new shoe is prolly the most uncomfortable shoe EVER. No wonder he falls down so many times. Go try them out, you'll see what I'm talking about.
The statement is "Fall 7 times. Stand up 8." Maybe it makes more sense now? If not, consider you were standing to begin with... and if you don't count the first "stand" as a "stand", then how could you have "fallen"? Think outside the box...
