Man, I can not help but think how lucky the Rockets are to have only played 4 games. Most NBA teams have played 5 or 6 games already. We are VERY fortunate that Tmac's injury happened now. We only lost 3 games while he was out, it could have been way worse.... Now that he is back, it will only be a minor bump in the schedule, and we are only 2 games back in the loss column. Good times good times. DD
I don't what lucky schedule your speaking of. WE 5 games to play in like 7 or 8 days currently thats not lucky nor easy. I'm telling you Stern still has a bone to pick with the rockets and it pisses me off. The rockets need to learn how to overcome the refs and and just WIN. I'm confident starting tonight they will do that. Go Rockets!!!
I agree DaDakota-we are not in a deep hole yet. The players without T-Mac really played the Heat competitively for most of the game. The Rockets will be better when Tracy returns for not having him for three games. With more time I think Anderson, Alston, and Head - with Barry's help could pull this offense together for the coach.
I agree with you, the schedule seemed to work out nicely. Even when T-Mac was just having problems with his knees, we had games after 2 days rest. With him coming back now, he is preparing himself to be 100% for this killer November. Worked out nicely, especially if the Rockets can step their game up.
hahaha. very nice. i'm afraid the rest of the BBS totally missed this Fat Joe line, but i feel ya. lean back mo'funka.
Well, the Rockets still have to play 82 games, and somewhere in there, they will have to play a bunch of games together. and Fat Joe sucks.
it would have been nice to win those games though. we had leads in the 4th in all of those IIRC. we should be 4-0 if it weren't for our poor shooting (wesley, anderson).
I agree that we are lucky for Tmac to only have missed 3 games instead of what could have been 5 BUT I actually think if we had lost TMac in the middle of the season for 3 games against those same teams then we would have done much better. When our team starts gellin we wont always really need TMac. Like last yr when we lost him in the middle of the yr the rest of the guys stepped up and did well because they knew their roles and had a chemistry thing going by then.
We are in a season-long hole because every opponent now knows that with McGrady off the court, we have nothing to fall back on.
thats not really true. LIke others said, we're still trying to figure each other out. If you mean out for games at a time, then yeah, we'll be in trouble, but if you mean him being on the bench, I think guys like swift and head could do some scoring for us against the opposing teams' bench.
