I guess the other poll was no comparison but, was wondering who you think was the best NWA memeber?

    Eazy-E
    Ice Cube
    Dr. Dre
    MC Ren (doesnt count)

Why doesn't MC Ren count? He was an original member. As was Yella-boy who was more of the DJ I guess. Don't hate on those 2.

I was thinking about them the other day. The greatness of that group can not be overstated. The members are responsible for 3 of the best rap albums of all time

    "Straight Outta Compton"
    "Death Certificate"
    "The Chronic"

Not to mention Eazy-E's solo album and the D.O.C's solo album (Dallas stand-up). The D.O.C. would have been an all-time great had he not sliced his voice box in an accident. Then you have Snoop from Dre and Eminem from Dre. and $.50 from Em and Dre.

Jay-Z calls the Roc the dynasty but NWA is the real dynasty of hip-hop.

eazy e. by the logic in the other poll -- he's dead, therefore he must be better.

I'm sorry, but if one of your songs was done ten times better by a rock band (Dynamite Hack), you can't be considered the best...

Put me on the court and I'm trouble
Last week f*ck*d around and got a triple double
Freakin' *****z every way like MJ
I can't believe today was a good day

I go with Ice Cube because he wrote (either by himself or with others) some of their best songs like "Boyz N the Hood", "8 Ball", and "Dopeman".

ice cube has fallen off lyrically the last decade but he made the best music out of all of them with his first couple of solo albums. he made more classics than eazy or dre. dre is a great producer but an average lyricist who is really overrated.

    ICE CUBE = best Lyricist
    Dre = best Producer

Dre with out a Rapper = DJ MAGIC MIKE

Ice Cube without a Producer would still be decent

Dre is GARBAGE on the Mike [well .. he ok with stuff OTHER PEOPLE WROTE
    for him]

    Rocket River

I agree. Ice Cube dominated rap music for a solid two years which is saying a lot. He was unquestioned on top. "Amerikkka's Most Wanted" and "Death Certificate" are certifiable hip hop classics and "Death Certificate" transcends rap music.

I remember the 1st Lalapooza (sp) when it came to the Ft. Bend Fair Grounds they had all those big grunge bands at time and Ice Cude. Dude was a superstar and he made substantive music.

Cube was the most talented in lyrics and delivery. He sold out, but he's still much much better than Dre.
