damn the lakers. i have always disliked kobe and arrogant ass phil jackson... i wanted the lakers to do bad again so Phil doesnt make Rudy look like a worse coach too. .plus im in san diego and everyone including everyone in my family is a damn laker fan.. anyways looks like kobe will win the scoring title this year if he keeps it up.. the dude is on fire!! leading the league with 37pts a game.. DAMN SURE HOPE TMAC comes bakc soon.. cant stand teh lakers ahead of the rockets in the standings.. what the hell is wrong with the nuggets too . losing to the lakers twice.. thought they were gonna be good... Rockets and Nugs were suppose to be top teams in the west but look bad so far..
wouldn't get too excited it's 3 games into the season for most teams and 3 games is essentially an indicator of nothing come back to me when the lakers have 41 games under their belt
dude, the first 2 weeks are like the pre-season. Teams still getting ready for the long haul. No way they play like this through out the season.
yea sure hope they cool off.. but they do look good . i watched all 3 games and they do look sharp so far. ahhh anyways GOOOOO ROCKETS... sure hope they beat stevey franchise tomorrow.. i love francis but Rockets better win! cause after that they have tough games coming up
so they are doing well when the only team they beat so far this year are the denver nuggets? one of the games where it was a buzzer beater as well? please the lakers may do well this year but there is no way of saying that 3 games into the season. this isnt the nfl where a 2-1 start may mean the entire season.
If this is a season long trend, are people going to start a new thread saying the lakers are good every time they win a game? If so, we will only be subjected to no more than 40 or so additional threads like is.
dont get too excited. i honestly dont think the lakers will make the playoffs, but IF they do it will be just barely and they will hold the 8th spot then get 0wned in 4 games by the spurs. Unless of course they make some kinda trade or sign a decent big man. but i cant think of anyone they would be able to get. All the big men are locked down. dont forget about the Clippers. they might make a nice run, they have the backcourt for it. and Brand hasnt been his usual self and Maggette isnt back. When Clips get into the swing of things u might see quite a few surprises. same goes for Golden State. the west just isnt big enough for all these teams. they need to send some of these teams to the east.
im betting kobe gets traded, and despite that the lakers will still miss the playoffs. phil came back for one thing - revenge!
I hate it when people judge a team with only 3 games in. The Lakers started out strong last year and surprise a lot of people, but after like 20 or something game, they went down hill from there.
The Lakers were decent last season with Rudy early on and then faltered. I think they were 24-19 or something before Rudy stepped down. After the All-star game is when the contenders are separated from the pretenders, and the Lakers will be in the first category.
