This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer jumps onto the Ribwich tour that was following the Krusty version of the sandwich all over the country since it was a seasonal thing.

Near the end of the episode Krusty is in a limosine offering the last Ribwich, since the animal it was made of was now extinct.

Having said all that, I've never had a McRib.

Damn. Didn't know so many people hated it, I like it one or two times every time it makes a comeback.

I worked at Mc Donalds through high school and I remember rushes for it the first few days it was out, but after a while hardly anybody ordered it. I'll get me a couple more one of these days...

I liked it when I was younger, but at the time I thought it was real ribs like I had at home for dinner.. Now that I know what it is, I'm not gonna try it again.. I bet they're good, but McDonalds can make anything taste good with enough fat and salt.. I have a hard enough time putting down their fries I dont need this thing taking years off my life to..

I had one last spring for the first time since 1988, my brother had never tried one and wanted to eat it after re-watching that Simpsons ep online. He choked it down, but I couldn't even finish it, and I've been known to stuff some nasty-ass food in my mouth.*

Last week I ate pierogi and mushroom soup.

I love Mcribs. I've always wondered why they didn't sell them year-round. Those things are like heaven.

I've never had a Mc Rib but since I've eaten more BBQ this past year than I probably have my whole life I doubt I'm going to Mickey D's for "BBQ."

if He had to do it all over again, God would've created the McRib instead of Eve.

McRib tasted like those cafeteria burgers drenched in a sweet barbeque sauce like substance.

The one I had last year tasted like a wet sock in sauce.

    I'm a sucker for hype....

    fear not, processed meat-lovers!

this is just another lame marketing ploy to get people out...at least i hope it is.

i read the book "fast food nation" about 3 years ago and since then i eat fast food MAYBE once every 2 months, but i NEVER eat at mcdonalds. sonic or whataburger are pretty much it for me. but when they bust out the mcrib im there quite a bit. i dont know why, but those dang sandwiches are a true slice of heaven!

i dont believe they will take it away forever. they should make it a permanent item. actually, it should be the FEATURED item. actually they should change the name from mcdonalds to mcribbys.

    mmm...
