For those of you who have not seen Year of the Yao and have Time Warner cable. If you select

Channel 1 > Click iControl FREE > Go down and select TNT > Select All Shows > Year of the Yao

You can watch the documentary commercial free. That's it! Just a quick note to the fans who did not know it was available.

    Thanks

It is available only on iControl... and its free..

When you go to the iControl Menu there is an option called:

    iControl FREE
    > the next menu has 4 options, one of them is called FAVORITES
    > the next menu has 3 pages of channels and on the third page there is an option called TNT
    > Select All Programs and then you will see Year of the Yao

This is almost commercial free (there are some TNT commericals but only for a few seconds between segments) and it cost nothing to watch.

    Good luck.

    Thanks for the info!

I wanted to see this damn thing with my girlfriend upon its limited theater release, yet, low and behold, "limited release" didn't include New York frickin' City for some reason. Then I looked and looked for a DVD version to be released while I still had a Blockbuster Online membership, but, again, that was too much to ask for as well! Couldn't find a copy online either...

This, on the other hand, was a very pleasant surprise!

Much obliged for spreading the info!
