Restaurateur Mama Ninfa dies Houston's first lady of Mexican cooking, Mama Ninfa Rodriguez Laurenzo, died of bone cancer at her home Sunday night. She was 77. What a wonderful woman. My favorite Ninfas is the 10700 block of Westhiemer near Wilcrest. Ninfas makes the best flour tortillas.
