OK, that's one...my mom also likes black licorice, so that's two. Now, we need to find where the other eight are so I can start my master plan for the complete eradication of black licorice. Hopefully, it's not a genetic trait...

Not a big sweets eater, so I don't really have vivid memories of gorgeing on candy.

Anyway, anything home-made went in the trash - I didn't trust it then. I guess my mom did a good job brainwashing me. I really liked the Nestle Crackle bars.

Send your dark chocolate Hershey bars to Isabel...

My favorites were Butterfingers and SweetTarts. Least favorite - Red Hots? or whatever those cinnamon things are.

Is Dia de la Muertos anything like Halloween?

I like Candy Corn and Sweet Tarts also.

That will be tomorrow... today is ALL Saints day... mañana es día de los muertos...

Tonight and tomorrow, leave your bread, water and fruit out and some candles for your dead loved ones... I bet you anything they will come in the middle of the night to drink and eat... muahahahaha... !

We don't dress up for Día de los Muertos... we just pray and do a pilgrimmage or chant to let the dead know we love them. Watch Bound By Honor... that's a good rendition, but that only happens in Califas, ese...

Yeah. I hate Candy Corn... sorry man. Most of us Mexicans do. :( The only thing those things are good for are for chunking it at the kids with the homemade costumes across the street... :p

If I don't like Black licorice does that make me a racist? ;)

Not a big candy corn fan either.

Favorites probably are peanut butter cups.

Always loved Bit-O-Honey...Having one right not as a matter of fact...yum...

Didn't like the cheap orange and black candy wrapped in paper wax..Never really ate the fruit people gave as there was always the needle/razor in the apple report every Halloween...

I have no idea what this black and orange candy looks like. Everyone seems to have had it and hated it but I honestly don't think I've ever gotten it from anyone.

Anyways, I liked all candy except black licorice, the hard bubble gum in the yellow/pink wrapper and butterscotch.

I especially liked getting full size candy bars from this one house that used to be in my old neighborhood.

And quit hating on candy corn, you only get it 2 months a year!

By "black and orange", I think they mean those chewy things with the peanut butter centers. When I was a kid, I didn't like them either. Then, as I got older, I started liking them because they formed a connection to Halloweens past. Buying a whole bag of them in college cured me of that. You can only eat so many. :)
