I'll second -- um -- third, the Brooks Brothers No Iron shirt recommendations. THey are awesome and they can withstand quite a bit of wear and tear, so the extra price you pay for them is worth it. I also like Nordstrom's No Wrinkle khaki pants.
Does ne 1 know someone that is a great tailor? I've been looking for one and tailor is the one that makes everything rather than just alter right? How much is the avg cost to have your shirt/pants tailored fit for you?
Dry those Brooks Bros Non-Iron shirts on low heat though... I have several that are less than a year old and already the collars and cuffs are fraying.
From what I have heard, having your clothes tailored for you can be extremely expensive. Once again, I do not say this from experience. It is solely second-hand info.
yeah...thats what i've heard. I've heard 200-shirts 300-pants is a good estimate...but again that's also 2nd hand knowledge
I like Marshall's and TJ Maxx for dress shirts. They have a lot of crud, but they also get some decent things in once and a while. I've bought Brooks Brothers, Neiman Marcus, Donna Karen Signature (not DKNY) as well as others in there for WAY below retail. You just have to look carefully.
