Butterfingers, Almond Joy, Tootsie Roll mix, Nerds, and Gummi Worms (Sour Frite Crawlers). I wanted to find more chocolate and peanut butter type things, but seems like all the kids want sour candy so that's what they sell. I always have to buy a lot because I ran out one year. If I end up with a lot of extras, more for me... oops, I mean more for my students (that too).
I was handing out Fun Dips.... But now looking at handing out boards and nails so the could built an ark to get back home...........its pouring out there........
Almond Joys, Snickers, Crunch bars all normal sized. I have a feeling I will be the best house this year.
You know its illegal to go trick or treating if you are above 12 yrs of age in Virginia. Oh, and it sucks for all those lil haloweeners with the rain and all And for the best and biggest candy, go trick or treating in venitian estates, so much candy, not that many kids = haloween heaven

Funny, dots are perhaps my favorite candy to get at halloween. But i guess that would explain how at a party when I was younger I was able to trade every single piece of my candy for nothing but dots! haha. I also love the peanut butter bar thingies. Bit O Honey & Twizzlers are also good. Even though I love Milk Duds, I hated getting them on halloween cuz those little "fun size" boxes would sometimes only have ONE!!! milk dud, and usually no more than 3.
A combo of three of the mini candy bars. Snickers, milky way, and Butterfingers. Each kid gets three minis. Last year I ran out after 24 bags. Lot's of people from the surrounding area come to my neighborhood. Never have leftover candy.
hmm.. I live in a highrise type apartment in downtown nashville... I assume there won't be any kids here... or at least I hope not.. never seen a kid here EVER lol... But I saw some nice playboy bunnies etc downtown .. when I walked out of the lobby the other day.. Maybe I'll go buy some candy for them
we'll be handing out umbrellas and warm bowls of Campbell's chicken noodle soup. actually, i'll hand out crisp $10 bills to any trick-or-treater that comes to my door.... they sure as hell earned it.
I'm new to one of those newer neighborhoods where almost everyone has kids. So far, I've handed out candy to about 12 kids. Their favorite item so far appears to be the gummy SpongeBob crabbie cakes or whatever. LOL
If I wouldve known we would only get 8 trick or treaters, I wouldve just bought some Godiva. Unfortunately, I have 7 bags of Snickers/Reeces/Butterfinger/Nestle mini bars. How long does candy last? There's probably so much preservatives, it'll probably never go bad.
Man these kids better hurry up. I have already eaten 1 small box of nerds, 1 shocktart, 1 tart & tiny, and 2 laffy taffys!!!!
We found some chocolates that has Jack Daniel in them at Sam's, one of the best thing I have ever tasted! Don't know if we should give'em to the kids though
