    It's nice to know though that the more things are shifting in this everchanging world, the more you can rely on some of the constants of life - the LAPD using excessive force.

    Most LA residents are outsiders (Laker bandwagoners too) so there is no concept of city pride.

    Has anyone ever explained why, when "our city" wins a championship, people turn into fire-worshippers? It's bizarre. People will either set something on fire or huddle around a fire chanting we're #1. What's with fire? Do we devolve into cavemen? lol.

    I mean what exactly is said around that fire? "Yeah, look at that fire! We're #1!"

    Wierd.
