He threw it where only his receiver could have made the catch, he hit his man in the hands. If you're a wide out you're taught all the way from the middle school level, that "if the ball hits you in the hands, you have to bring it in." That INT is on the receiver, not Carr.
I'd rather have the 1st pick in the Draft than to get on a roll late in the season and start winning and miss the playoffs.
I agree with you 100%. I want the Texans lose every game so they get the first pick and fire the whole coaching staff and Charley Casserly.
There are going to be changes regardless... and they're likely going to be in the top 5 anyways, and that would put them in line to get an O-lineman (which is a need that HAS to be filled). Frankly, I think this new O-line has actually improved a little. They don't seem to be getting beat by a team's base defense (as they were in the beginning of the season), and a lot of the sacks Carr has had to take the last 2 weeks have been either because the receivers haven't been able to get open, or he's just failed to get rid of the ball fast enough. Of course, while the O-line seems to have made strides in the pass-blocking, their run blocking was far worse today (why does it always have to be one or the other). The return of AJ should help them get some receivers open (if not AJ, he will draw attention and leave a TE or Gaffney open). That being said... they still need major help.
why is corey bradford still on this team? At least throw the ball to mathis or armstrong more. Bradford just can't catch a ball. I mean even the announcers were making fun of him and saying they should throw to other people.
I know, Bradford sucks. He is the worst route runner in football. Mathis should be starting. He can stretch the defense. Gaffney is more of a slot because he isn't that fast. Armstrong has the best hand on the team. We also need to get a tight end who can catch the ball.
