Applaud. LegendZ3 you basically sums up what I wanted to say.

Ewing is not in the same league as far as Yao Ming has more skills and size. Sprewell is never even close to TMac's talent. Only MJ has comparable talent.

That's not fair. Last year I had both the Pacers AND the Timberwolves in the Finals.

what an ignorant article. JVG has gotten the most out of what he had last year. I think he's a better X's and O's coach than Rudy. As mentioned before, we might get off to a "slow start" but I expect the players to be prepared and ready for each and every game. All of them have bought into Jeff's philosophy and are willing to do whatever it takes to get that ring. Will we win it this year? I don't know, but this team never gives up. It'll take 20-25 games for the new players to gell w/ TMac and Yao. I'm gonna be patient stick w/ Jeff till the very end. He's exactly what this team needs...a disciplinarian and a guy who will fight tooth and nail for his players..i.e. 100k fine for the Yao bullsh*t. Can't wait till Wed. Let's live it. Everyday.

    Peace

I thought I'd identify one last turd in this article.

As much as we love Ryan Bowen's hustle, since when has ANYBODY ever recognized Bowen as being a part of a "deep" bench.

Plus he never mentioned the stellar play of rookie Luther Head which is certainly notable at this point when talking about our deep bench.

Also no mention of Bob Sura.

And notice his incorrect assumption that Juwan Howard will be on the bench. It is clear that Howard will open the season as the starter.

Couldn't agree more... The writer talks about the new additions as if JVG had no role in bringing them here. Rafer wouldn't be here without the SVG connection. I'm sure it was JVG who got CD to inquire about Rafer (the so called "bold move"). The same goes with DA. He had wanted him last year when he was desperately trying to unload Mo.

    Thanks.

I've no idea why they took my Michael Dickerson mention out of the Luther Head bit.
