my apologies for the delay, lost power during encode, and I had to rerun it after I got off work. in regards to the last game torrrent, if you once again only got 99.9% of it...redownload the torrent in the other thread and open it in your client and it will finish the download. Rox v Hornets 10/27/05 full game torrent 695M xvid codec <~~link to codec the initial download speed will be slow on this one since Im the only seed right now..just be patient and you will get the file...however the highlight clip has many seeds and is a fast download Rox vs Hornets preseason game highlight clip As usual, these are torrented files...if you dont know how to use bittorrent...google it first, and if you still dont understand it...ask in this thread most of yall know the deal with seeding by now, but just in case we have someone new to this...... it is important for you to leave your bittorrent program running after you finish downloading the video file...this allows others to get the video also since the file is shared by everyone's computers that is downloading it, not on a central server anywhere on the internet, so if no one leaves their torrent programs open, the file sharing doesnt work one last thing.....I will always have my seed running until the next game...so even if your client is not showing a seed...rest assured that is wrong...mine is running and will be until the next game...thats how I always do it.
Rockets2K, and everyone else that might have an idea, I moved up to New York about three months ago from houston and unfortunately I don't have free tv or cable here. I miss my Rockets games though!! so i bought a phone line and dialup internet so that I could download your game files. I use the bittorrent program. I can only download at 2-3kb/s so it takes me about two days to download but it's ok because that's all i can afford and that's all i need the internet or phone line for. BUT, is there a way to stop uploading the file to other people until my file is finished downloading so that maybe it wont take that long? I would make my file available for upload to other people as soon as my file was downloaded. Know how to do this? Any other ideas on how to view/get the games? btw, your hard work is very appreciated and thanks for making this possible. - SS
I don't think there are any clients that lets you turn off uploading while you're downloading a file. The only thing you could do is to set the max upload speed to 1 kB/s. But why don't you just get a low-end DSL connection. Verizon and SBC have specials for $14.95 a month. That's comprable to the price of most dialup services (and decidedly better than AOL and Earthlink), while being at least 7-10 times faster.
