Me - #2 Josh - #1 I talked to Josh about the whole car thing. Turns out he stopped to get gas and then his car wouldn't start. He had his dad come jump him and his dad parked perpendicular to his car, on the driver's side in order for the cables to reach. When Josh went to start the car I think he thought it was in nuetral, not drive. So when he started the car it lept forward with his leg outside the open door. It went forward a couple of feet and the door hit his dad's car and closed on his leg. He frantically tried to reverse to free his leg but the parking break was on! He finally got the break off and backed it up to free his leg. He said it's getting better and the swelling is going down. Doesn't think it's broken anymore so hopefully he'll be ready to start D-League with us in a few weeks. We'll just take it day to day I guess.

Yeah I got the jersey at Academy for like $12 then the letters were something like $4 a piece at some place down here near Almeda mall called Rodriguez Sports #2 or something. I don't remember the exact name, but it's off the 45 south feeder right before Joe's Crabshack near Fuqua. Not sure where YaoWink lives though.
Yeah well based on the scores online in D we should be nice and fine. Also all the Refs said we would be untouchable in D. Which is a good thing. When i played about 4 years ago C league was competitive but nothing like this time. The ref said that B was getting too full so a bunch of them moved down to C and so forth. So we got a bit unlucky and not knowing that this happened. Oh well....still enjoy playing....doesn't matter to me...but will be nice to win this other league and be the dominant team
I just hope there isn't a huge drop in talent though. I know if we had had just a couple of bigs in C league we would have won a few games.
So are we all getting together for a scrimmage/practice game /whatever any time soon? i dont think i will be able to make it to live wednesday....

Can't play this Sunday ... going to see the Texans get their first win of the season. I might be able to make it on Wednesday, though.

biggie expressed interest in playing sunday around 1ish...yaowink and myself cant make it sunday but yaowink expressed that he could make it out to play sometime wedsday. myself, Ill prolly be open to play anytime after sunday... I dont know about anyone else
i can't play sunday. will be at work with five more hours to go by the time you guys start. i'll get a few pickup games in on my own though. y'all go ahead and do the sunday thing. i remember yaowink's game... he don't want none.
When, and what day is this whole shindig at Live? It's on a Wednesday? Cause I got to work. I don't know if I can play this weekend. For some reason, I got more sick as the week got by. I thought I got over it on Monday, and as the week progressed I got worse. And what day those the season start? I still need to fix my work schedule.

my mistake...I wasnt thinkin when I kept saying Wedsday. Anyways, I talked to Biggie last night and he informed me about getting together for basketball Tuesday somewhere...depending on how many people are free might depend where we go. Anyone else besides him and myself free Tuesday evening?
i won't be free on tuesdays until the season starts. Until then i will beworking and the only days i have free is Mondays.
