If you ask me, this is totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous!

(10/27/05 - KTRK/HOUSTON) - The World Series may be over, but the case to keep the roof of Minute Maid Park open is far from being shut.
Houston attorney Lisa Sechelski is planning to file a class action lawsuit against Major League Baseball and Commissioner Bud Selig.

She claims some fans got sick because they weren't given adequate notice that the roof would be open and therefore, weren't prepared for temperatures in the 50's. Some think the lawsuit is a joke, but Sechelski says she's serious.

"They expected to go and enjoy a game instead they were met with conditions they weren't prepared for," said Sechelski.

"I'd be surprised if a judge let this case get very far. But again there may be facts that none of us know about," said U of H law professor Richard Alderman.

The lawsuit does not involve the Astros. They actually wanted the roof to be closed.

Funny, I was just thinking about that last night. I figured it was just a matter of time before someone sued MLB because they got sick at the game. Simply moronic.

Can you imagine a world without lawyers?

To be honest, I hope this suit wins. MLB needs to be checked on this one. I remember seeing tons of people hugging themselves because they were cold that night- not a good night to have the roof open.

Better than drawing attention to the sweep.

I disagree. I'd rather have attention drawn to baseball anyday than to frivolous lawsuits. I'd like the nation to see our solidarity around our team, not our pettiness and some lame attempt to win a nickel off of "the Man".

Everyone has a right to bare arms. This is a consititutional issue. Send it to the supreme court baby.

It's silly, but Selig shouldn't have dropped that bull **** line about "fan comfort" being a factor. Obviously, some fans were uncomfortable.

I think this is asinine. It's lawsuits such as this that make our profession look less than stellar. Unbelievable.

Sounds like a sorority girl who just graduated law school and is trying to make a name for herself. And she will....only it won't be the name she is looking for.

What does she look like? If she has big hooters I'm all for her getting more time on TV.

I think I'm gonna sue Channel 2 news. They frequently get the weather wrong, and I find myself unprepared for the temperature and climate that I experience.

I'm gonna sue MLB. They made me miss a lot of work hours, which, potentially, cost me millions.

    Screw Selig.
