Did we really have to see some middle age woman on her cell phone 15 times?
Did we really have to see only the rich old people behind the stands?
Where was the close up of Tmac?
There are alot of good looking people in houston, yet they only focused on the old ugly River Oaks residents.

The only good shot was of that kid sleeping. thats what we all should have been doing since Phil Garner WAS HORRIBLE as a manager that night.

I did like the shot of that dude picking his nose towards the end of the game.

I can handle the crowd shots, but the person that came up with that stupid talking baseball that tells me a fastball goes fast needs a painful venereal disease in the worst way...

And am I wrong or did I hear extra audio effects everytime a pitch was thrown?

I hate the little comet tracers they show when they replay a good pitch, leave that **** in the XBOX version.

Yeah, where WAS the close up of T-Mac?

Oh, that's right -- he doesn't have a sitcom on Fox.

The other thing that annoyed was all the shots of White Sox fans. You'd have thought half the stadium was for the Sox.

At least Sox fans know they can be safe on our park -- the reason there weren't shots of Astro fans in Chicago was that they all knew they'd get mugged if they showed Astro colors over there...

Fox is the worst network for sporting events in the history of television.

I was surprised at the number of kids that were still at the game past midnight on a school night.

    Nice job parents

The shots of the White Sox fans were really annoying.. I swear I've never seen so much air time given to a visiting teams fans (although there was one pretty cute girl they showed in the first 4 innings a couple of times).

You know what was the icing on the crap cake? They showed a close-up of a SECURITY GUARD. That's right, one of those muscle bound bouncers that works for 5 Star and sits on the little stool at the bottom of each aisle was given his own dramatic close up. The camera man didn't know it was a security guy when he first showed him, but the bouncer guy leaned back during the shot and showed his "security guy" tshirt to the whole world.

    Nice job, Fox.

This comes around once in 40 years, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't mind my kid miss one day of school for it.

...and risk being labeled a bandwagon fan by MadMax for leaving the game early? ;)

I don't think kids should miss school unless 1) family emergency, 2) sick, or 3) religious holiday.

I'm no fogey but I guess I'm old school. I know it's just one day of school. Who cares. Schools should have cancelled classes anyways. It's the freaking WS.

btw, I don't mean to tell people how to raise their kids. I just value school.

I would say for some this would be extremely close to 3) religious holiday.

Aww you don't like scooter?! ....seriously though, that muppet reject needs to go, especially since he doesn't offer any insight watsoever.

I laugh at Fox's version of ESPN's "K Zone," which is better in so many ways.

If you're refering to the sound of the ball hitting the catcher's mitt, that's not an exra audio effect. They have mics all around homeplate to pick up all those in-game noises.

And as to the closeups of the Sox fans...if that didn't piss me off enough, they just had to show the one damn pro-Sox sign in the building. WTF?!

b**** about Scooter all you want (and I know I have), but my 4-year old son has asked me to rewind the DVR every time he's seen him on the television. Given that MLB is losing younger fans, I can stomach the 30 seconds Scooter is given if my kid likes it.
