I'm in this boat, too. Hell, I passed out in the tenth inning thanks to an extra heavy workday. I feel fine.
Tired and heading to class again.. where I'll probably get laughed at by chicago fans.. for still sporting my astros stuff
I am tired too... The loss was my fault, I awoke at about 2am EST. I swore I saw the refresh with in the 15 seconds of loading up ESPN and BAM the sox scored a homerun. I was like mother****ing b****, then I just crashed and burned. Burned hard.
I was ok until about 3pm, but I can barely keep my eyes open now. I don't think I could make it through even an inning tonight, which may be a good thing at this point.
INCREDIBLE. I did EXACTLY what you did. Had friends over. Drank beer. I never drink that much. THEY couldn't handle it. THEY fell asleep. THEY woke up. THEY left on the 12th inning. I stayed up. I DRANK again. I saw the WHOLE GAME. I will do this again tonight because I love my HOUSTON TEAMS. ¡¡¡¡VAMOS, ASTROS!!!!!
Being a college student, I normally don't go to bed till 2 in the morning anyway, so it didn't bother me that much. But it sure was tiring to go through the tension for 14 innings
I woke up for my 9:30 and decided to skip not so much because I was tired but because I was still pissed off. Slept until 1:30.
I don't sleep that much and usually go to sleep around 1 or 2AM. I was more depressed than tired. It didn't help much that a friend from Ohio who's rooting for the Chisox as a Midwesterner sent me a broom.
3.5 hours sleep. Worked 12 hours. Then went to the Cream reunion show at MSG. Had to pound Starbucks liquid crack to make show. Now wired yet exhausted and praying for some runs.
