Today is not the best day to make this point. Bagwell scolded two balls last night that just happened to have good plays made on him, and he also got a big hit in the 9th inning en route to tying the game up. I think he did pretty darn well yesterday.

Well, I'm convinced. 1 single in 2 games is great production from the 5 hole.

Bases Load and 1 hit to win the game, your cleanup hitter is at the plate and he strikes out...

He is now 2-11... GREAT AVERAGE!!!!

Now we can close this thread.....

Ensberg is doing his best impersonation of the 90's playoff versions of Biggio and Bagwell.

I refuse to watch game 4 if Enberg is in the lineup. I just can't take this anymore - we might as well have the pitcher hitting cleanup - at least whomever that is will bunt runners over.

Bull****, Ensberg is still our BEST hitter... He has proved himself thru the season.

Its like benching Yao Ming in the playoffs because he starts the series 2-30 and no 5 rebounds in 3 games

    No you dont. HELL NO...

Lamb is great and all, and the one thing weve learned from these series is that we do need a good bench to back us up.

But if Yao Ming was 2-30 and averaging 4 points a game while playing below average to average defense (although the double play made up for the earlier error), I think Yao would definitely get benched.

Ensberg is a DAYAM CHOKER in the PLAYOFF!! HAVN"T DONT CRAP!!!!

HE had chances in the past two game to knock someone in and couldnt do it and cost us the game.

He's like an EASY OUT NOW!!! FREE SWINGING NO CONTACT MAKING SORRY ASS ....... he better not be asking for MORE $$$$$.

The DIFF between Whitesox up 3-0 and we should be up 2-1 is ENSBERG!!!!

nope, you dont bench your allstars, esp in the playoffs, no matter what the sport is.

lambs decent, but there is a good reason he comes off the bench, even in the year when ensberg sucked...

    adeelsiddiqui,

We all can agree that Ensberg did great in the Reg season and we all can agree that he is stinking up the place now.

Like I was saying before he needs to be pushed down on the lineup....

Right now he has lost his confidence and he is not being productive at all. Move him to the 6,7 or 8th spot and move Lane or Burke to the cleanup.

not once have I argued with him being moved down the spot, but benching him over lamb is a stupid move.
