The funniest thing about that page was the International Earth Destruction Advisory Board. Here's the current EARTH-DESTRUCTION ALERT LEVEL:
You will need: a black hole, extremely powerful rocket engines, and, optionally, a large rocky planetary body. The nearest black hole to our planet is 1600 light years from Earth in the direction of Sagittarius, orbiting V4641. I'm all for this, let's go find that black hole and bring it back!
I liked the part about comparing the destruction of earth to shooting a cueball into a black hole. I believe the guy called it space billiards or something. For some reason, all I could think of was the ending secene from MIB when the aliens were playing marbles with our galaxy.
I have always heard that if the moon did not exist, neither would life on Earth. Something about how the moon affects the axis that the Earth rotates on. The moon plays a huge part when it comes to storms on Earth. If there was no moon, there would be no ice caps, because the Earth would not be locked into it's rotation. Or something like that. I forget the details, but I'm sure someone can google it for more details.
