Good morning. In less than an hour, Astros fans from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest fan battle in this history of mankind. Mankind -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps its fate that today is the 22nd of October, and this is the farthest in any year the Houston Astros have played the game of baseball. They will once again be fighting for our fandom, not from boos, heckling, or badmouthing -- but from fans who have stuck with this team through thick and thin. We're fighting for our right to live, to exist. And should we win the day, the 22nd of October will no longer be known as any regular day, but as the day when the 'Stros declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive!" Today, we celebrate our WORLD SERIES!
Nice, I remember some lyrics from Alan Parsons Project, the song is "The Voice" The chorus is: You're the voice try and unsderstand it Make a noise and make it clear We're not gonna sit in silence We're not gonna live with fear And some lines are: We have the chance to turn the pages over This time we know we all can stand together With the power to be powerful Believing we can make it better Nice song!!
