Houston fans more crazy about the Astros than the Rockets?

I know that some of the fans are what I'm calling "spontaneous," but the difference is that in Houston, it's a much smaller percentage than other cities, especially places that have a richer sports tradition.

Agreed. I am a Missourian who was recently crushed by the loss,...but you've also gotta love those Cardinals fans for the standing-O they gave their team, AND the Astros, after game 6. Impressive. That's a set of fans that everyone wishes they had. But I think they tradition and loyalty that the team can gain and earn, also helps bring those fans in and keeps them there,...hopefully that is something the Rockets (and sure, why not other Houston sports teams too ) are earning...and improving on.

Thank God these Astros didnt go the Oiler path ...and thank him 3 more times the Rockets wont have to be close to that situation ...This year
