I haven't even gotten a rejection email, and I signed up with 5 different accounts. Weird.

yeah, i havent gotten a rejection letter either. i only signed up once, but this is making me think i did something stupid like type my email incorrectly.

am i the only still checking their email with the false hope that somehow i will still get a winning email?

It seems like those (like me) who received the "rejection letter" are on the "2nd opportunity/waiting list" for anyone who doesn't buy tickets.

    ------------------------------
Thank you for registering for a chance to purchase tickets to potential Astros World Series games at Minute Maid Park. Unfortunately your entry was not selected for the online World Series sale. If single tickets remain, or any tickets go unclaimed, you will be automatically entered into the 2nd chance World Series ticket opportunity. If you are a 2nd chance winner, you will receive an e-mail on Thursday, Oct. 20 informing you of what you need to do.
    ------------------------------

I will be checking my email again Thursday, Oct 20th.

My husband and I both signed up and he got this rejection e-mail and I didn't. Maybe there is hope!!!! We'll be checking and hoping on the 20th! I can't imagine someone not buying tickets when they've won though..... :(

Finally got my rejection letter .. I definitely won't be holding my breath for an email on Thursday. Oh well ... would've been an expensive flight into Houston for a baseball game.

Actually, I would bet that most true scalpers didn't sign up for these. True scalpers have a bunch of World Series tickets because they bought blocks of season tickets.

I hate all you lucky bastids, jk.

I got the "You are a loser" letter once, but I must really be a loser not to get it for the second chance drawing.

Checked my mail tonight and nothing. I figured they had already done the drawing and I lost. Then I checked here and saw some people that won, so by chance I checked the barracuda program running on my work email, and there was my winning email. Hopefully I can get a pair of tickets to one of the games.
