you should mention in the title that it was multiple choice. by the time you find out it won't let you vote again. by my count there is an open slot in addition to LB who is already signed to a one year contract. I don't think there is any reason to sign any of the other 3 however. I think the Rox might be waiting to see who comes available before the season. we need another big.
Well Baxter is obvious since he does have that guaranteed contract. After that we have one slot open. After the summer league, I would have pegged Dion Glover for sure. But if he's injured and isn't getting time, then I don't see it happening. In that case, my vote goes to Hayes getting the final slot.
Baxter for sure, then Hayes over Glover who obviously has been injured. Can hayes play any backup 3? Or is he just a small undersized PF?
LB will make the team for sure. Glover, Langford, Hayes in that order have the best chance to make the team for the last spot if they choose to keep from the 3.
I hope Glover gets fit but I doubt he will make it.I would like to know how long can anyone be on a non-guaranteed contract?
after baxter there is one spot left. glover has been injured so i dont believe he will make the cut. this leaves hayes and langford. with the roster full of perimeter players i doubt langford has a real shot. hayes in my vote.
Yeah, I'm thinking that I agree with the position that Baxter is the obvious choice since he already has a gauranteed contract. I mean, I can't fathom a scenario in which he's cut right now. I have no idea who'll make the team after that. Glover is hurt and I don't think Hayes or Langford have been particularly impressive.
Other than Baxter, I don't think any of the remaining 3 will be signed. JVG will probably pick up a big man cut from another team's preseason roster in order to fill the 15th slot.
can I vote other? In a surprising turn of events, sprewell signs for the vet's min. and makes his wife go hungry so he can still afford to feed his kids.
I hope they sign Badiane and send him to Austin. There I said it. He could get better experience there than on a second tier German team. If he will ever amount to anything we have to know it by the time Deke's contract runs out. Whoever they sign for #15 is just a splinter gatherer anyway.
