I think I'd prefer to read the comments by Jeff Van Gundy rather than just being a hater. But that's just me. For Van Gundy to give you even a little bit of praise, that's meaningful. I also appreciate the comments by Moochie regarding the fact that he might not see the court that often, but that he can help the team in other ways. He's obviously matured and there's something to be said for that other than just bashing the guy for his past performances.
Can you take a guy named Head seriously? For as much as we badmouth Moochie -- and I'm guilty of criticizing his dribblemania -- he won a number of games for the Rockets and was once a fan favorite. I hope he has a spectacular year for the Rocks.
You guys are harsh. It is a contract year, but I'm just happy Moochie seems to be giving it his best. He said he's not going to complain even if he doesn't get minutes too. I'm rooting for him to have a good year.
50% on shootarounds are delusional though. Players, especially NBA players can adjust well enough when they get to shoot consecutively. From what it sounded like, T-Mac was shooting shot after shot. The time off between possessions would probably hurt his consistency and the ability to measure his touch on shots from that far off would hurt that percentage as well.
I know I've mentioned this before, but I saw Moochie at the Mason Road Chick Fil-A (about a couple months ago), so if he lost all that weight, I must have caught him on binge day. Out of shape? Looking to lose weight? DON'T EAT AT CHICK FIL-A.
I think I'd prefer the scant info we get on rocket players to not be centered around Moochie and Bowen, but that's just me.
Can the Rockets sue him for not being serious about winning in the past when getting paid millions of dollars to do so?
There are guards with way less talent then moochie still in th leauge...He will be in the leauge next year.
And why wasn't he being criticized now ala TMac when he admittedly said that he sometimes didn't give his best in his last year with the magic
I really don't think Norris has the talent still to remain a valuable NBA player. He's looked pretty terrible the past few years playing GARBAGE minutes. Watching him run the offense is nothing short of excruciating.
If he were on the LA Lakers, he'd be the starting point guard. Someone will take him, there just aren't enough point guards around that are better than him
So long as someone else is paying his multi-million paycheck I wish him the best of luck. He won't be missed except mauybe as clubhouse clown.
