You have no idea how many NYers want the Stros to win it all. I had nothing but great comments from everyone out on the town tonight (I was wearing my Clemens jersey). Wish I coulda been there, but I'll take it anyway I can get it.
I am too...This was our biggest test on the path to the championship. I'm not discounting the Sox, but we have this!
Well then they should be tested for mental r****dation. As far as New Yorkers loving it, yes they do! My girlfriend and her mom (both Yankees fans) have been converted to mini Astros fans through these playoffs. They've watched every game I've been off for with me.
Being the only Astros fan (that I know of) in the Northeastern Pennsylvania, I can't tell you how many people came up to me and busted my balls after Lidge gave up that....well you know...I told them come and see me Thursday Most of them told me they were pulling for the Stros because of Clemens and Pettitte. All is good in the World tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dayum!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm usually not a big baseball fan until the playoffs but I'm loving this. I hope the Astros can bring another title to houston! I know I'm beating a dead horse but how do you think Beltran feels? I'm giddy.
Great f*cking game...I knew it...You could tell we were ready...I'm still in shock, but it's the greatest feeling... Bring on the White Sox...Go Stros!!!
I'm the happiest I've ever been after a sporting event. I'm 25 years old. I've rooted for the Astros longer than for any other team. My other loves include the Rockets, the Longhorns, and Boston College. But the Astros are my first love, and dearest. Craig Biggio is my favorite player - ever. Any sport. The first person I called after that game was my dad. He's been an Astros fan since their first season as the Colt 45s. Go Astros. Beat the hell out of the Chi Sox. But no matter what happens - this is incredible.
Just awesome, 48 hours ago was a ugly feeling but tonight it's whole diferent. This is the best time of this team, and better times are due to come soon!
I feel sorry for the cub fans, they have a World Series in their city and one team they hate for being in their city the other team is the one that smacks them around in their division.
