Wow - that kid's a player, and should have been a top ten pick for sure. While it would put a lot of pressure on O'Neal and Artest to score, I think he's going to start by the end of the year and move Jackson to an instant-offense role off the bench. A combination of Artest and Granger locking down players and O'Neal patrolling the middle is going to be scary.

I noticed that, too. I'll take a flyer on that guy for my fantasy team.

If he would have gone a couple of picks lower then we could have gotten him.

I was hoping one of the 3 Gs would have slipped down to us: Gerald Green, Danny Granger, or Joey Graham. Still, Head's been playing pretty well.

Granger's freefall was the biggest story of the past draft, to me. Heck, maybe even the past several.

I'd have taken Bogut, Paul, or D. Williams over him. That's it.

Well he did play 36 minutes against a depleted SA team. Still, I think he will be a solid pro in a Scottie Pippen mold.

What's the deal with SA in the preseason, btw? It is stupid superstition, but I'm not comfortable with the Rockets going through the preseason without suffering a loss - especially after the unbeaten summer league.

We tried to trade up and get him, oh well. At least he's on the Pacers.

I'm also interested in David Lee. I think he could be a Troy Murphy type, and considering he has Mo Taylor in front of him...well, he should get some decent PT (no offense, Mo).

Ya, the Pacers and Celts really lucked out when Green and Granger fell that low, these were suppose to be lottery picks.

I think Granger is a good fit w/ Indy. Like Jayz said, he's a pippen mold and the type of player that does a lot of things well. He could be their future at SF if Artest goes nuts again.

I'd add Diogu, Bynum and Green to the list.

Green and Bynum could be great, but they could also be settled in mediocrity forever. Granger seems such a sure thing.

If I needed a power forward, I suppose I would think about Diogu, though.

danny granger and gerald green are the steals of this draft. especially granger. he's going to come in right away be a difference maker. he reminds me a lot of shawn marion. an active body at both ends of the floor and capable of getting a double-double every night. he may end up being the best player from this draft.

Bynum is going to be a top-five center in three years. You can quote me on that. He's a kid with size, mobility, and just as important - smarts. But this is getting off-topic ;)

All of you act like you're NBA scouts or something. How do you know what Bynum can and can't do? You haven't seen him play yet and even if you did I wouldn't take your word for it.
There are high schoolers who have succeeded right away: Lebron
Took time to be successful: Jermaine Oneal
    Average: Deshawn Stevenson
    Never made it: Curry

I guess you have a 25% of geting it right

i'm just playing around..but seriuosly, that guy wasn't worth the 10th pick. with green and granger available, that was a dumb selection.

Yeah, and we all act like we are NBA GMs or something.

Wait, isn't that part of the fun at this site?

    What was your point again?
