What's the most money/most expensive prize you've ever won?

Damn! My video poker Royal Flush only got me $600 And I spent all of it in a matter of hours!

 

$11,000 one time on a 5 bet parlay.

 

my brother made the bet for me when he was out in vegas. he just threw down $10 for me.

 

It was a $3.00 machine and we played the max. It was also perfect timing as we were just getting ready to go to a late show and the next day we were leaving so we didn't have the chance to blow it all.

 

I won a $1,250 shopping spree at Deerbrook mall in a church bazaar one time. the funny thing was my friend an I both go to this church but I'm not a member who gets raffle tickets or whatever, my mother does. so the day of the bazaar my friend wanted me to buy some of his tickets and I said something like "my moma has my tickets" but I bought ONE anyway and won first prize.

 

I won tickets to L.A. at a Rockets halftime show one time doing a game where you could pick a box/bag, and get what was in it. If you didn't want to do that you could shoot a free throw to win a trip to SA if you made it. I took the box (actually it was a bag) and won the trip to LA. My girlfriend was the last one to go and she won the trip to SA thanks to Bo Outlaw coming out to warm up and shooting a layup for her

Oh, I thought I should add, we represented when we went to the Rox/LA game in LA, but that almost got me into a couple of fights......

 

$4000 at the Bellagio slots. Won $2500, and between $1000-2000 on several other occassions, and $1600 in the Ca lotto.

 

Man you are lucky!!! My gf and I won $800 at an Excalibur slot and as a result of that we got a free comp for another night stay...that's about it though.

 

Won the George Harrison Box Set "The Dark Horse Years", a 5 CD collection, along with the Concert for George DVD from the local radio station. Probably valued around $150.

 

I won a $100 American Express Gift Cheque when Matt Jackson picked my post-game Rockets question after the Raptors-Rockets game in 03-04.

 

I won 4 tickets to WaterWorld off 93Q back when it first opened.

I guess that's it.

I've won $2,000 playing in a huge multi-table online poker tournament (Made 3rd place).

 

I've lost a lot of money...

 

I routinely win the 'friendly' poker game that my group of friends puts on..so probably $60-100 there. Scratch-offs, I've won $20 several times, but it's a losing game, so I quit.

When I graduated HS, I won a 17-inch Color TV at the Project Graduation, and sold it for $150 (this was back in 1991).

I also won $300 on my first trip to the casinos in LA, and that was on slot machines, with just $5. I never play any of the competitive games at casinos. Before I was married I would just go for the women.

 

I won a dental spa gift package at a health fair last week.

 

I won a basketball autographed by the 85-86 Rockets when I was in eighth grade. Lew Lloyd, Hakeem, Ralph, Tricky Dick Vandervoort, Phil b****, Rudy T. John Lucas, etc.

 

I won a Jet Ski from the Monopoly game at Mcdonalds. Okay, not really. But it sounds better than a box of Magic packs at a tournament.

 

Hmmm, I can't really think of any prize I've ever really won....



When it comes to winnings based on putting in some effort, I had a 5 day span of winning around $500-$600 in Texas Hold 'Em (Poker) with my friends on merely just $10 and $20 buy-ins from everyone.
