I think people all over asia do this stuff. I know in the Arab world its customary for both men and women to hold hands. Also, in Hong Kong I saw women holding hands all the time. Its just a cultural thing.
You left off an "x". I am surprised that TJ hasn't posted something like "Well, they are lesbians" in this thread.
I've seen my wife and her best (girl)friend holding hands several times in the past few weeks. Hmmmm maybe I need to confront them and ask them what's going on 3-some
That's what I was thinking of. A Turkish friend told me he'd have to tell relatives coming to visit not to hold hands in the States. On the touchy-feely spectrum in the world, the US is definitely near the end. Here, you can't bump someone's knee without an apology.
We talk about YOU. (yes, your whole confusing, frustrating gender. Anything with a Y chromosome.) But that was back in high school and early college, at least for me. Unless I'm that desperate for a place to discuss something with a friend and ask advice, I would really rather take care of business by myself, thank you.
It's a common custom in the Arab world, Turkey, and even in some Eastern European cultures. Nothing new.
Girls holding hands, cool, kinda sexy...Guys, totally gay, not that there's anything wrong with that... j/k Now, when the girls are hot, start french kissing and tearing each others clothes off, then it's time to call me...
It's not just Asia.....I just came back from South America and tons of girls there hold hands when they walk around.....especially in Argentina..
Female homosexuality is gaining popularity in Asia. These women probably couldn't help themselves even after they arrived on American soil.
