For some reason, I thought that one had closed. I know the HEB that was at Chimney Rock and West Bellfort closed and became a Dollar Store.

I guess for what we buy (and it doesn't vary too much week to week), we save about no less than $10 a week shopping at either Kroger or HEB.
look, biatch. you should shop at Randalls! actually, my Randall's love has waned since they're no longer locally owned. but when they were, i shopped there as if it was a mandate from God.
I was hoping that HEB would remodel that one to be like the one at Westheimer and Fountainview, but NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
The Onstead family used to live down the street while I was growing up, and I graduated high school with one of their daughters.
In the early 90's, Randalls was great. Now it's a piece of crap. When I moved back here in 2000, I lived next to and shopped at the Randalls on Westheimer/Gessner. Then, the opened the HEB at Fountainview and I saw what a grocery store was supposed to look like. Death to Randalls for sucking. The Randalls they listed on Westheimer -- is that the one at Gessner? I hope so.
Very nice, very friendly and neighborly. The daughter lives in Dallas now. I ran into her at our 20th HS reunion six years ago.
