Given the additions of new talent on both sides, this year promises to provide additional chapters in the Rockets - Spurs "book of epics."

Watching Hakeem put on a clinic v. DR in '95 has got to be near the top. Also recall the then-youthful Horry hitting some threes in the clutch. The 13pt/35 second "TMac en fuego" also merits high honors.

    What else?

The greatest 'moment' (as in singular moment) had to be the T-Mac Miracle...nothing tops that, that was miraculous to say the least

Yeah that was my favorite win for some reason. O.T. was clutch with the offensive rebounds in that game. I remember being home all alone and running around my house flexing for about ten minutes and then doing push ups the rest of the night. Mad Max was probably the most clutch player in the league that year. I can remember about 4-5 games where he brought us back from the dead with crazy "are you kidding me" type shots.

The Rockets beating the spurs in SA, to go 22-1 in Dec. of 1993. Vernon hitting the last shot and everyone going wild. The Rockets pulled it out, spurs missed crucial free throws at the end and the Rox refusing to lose on the boards. I was touching the ceiling on that one.
Mad Max did the same thing about a year later against the spurs, this time in Houston. Hakeem making robinson look silly in about every game of the '95 WCF has to be up there too.

if your a spurs fan, it would be david robinson's tip in after the buzzer in last game of the 93 season, which gave seattle home court advantage over us and we lost to them in overttime in game 7of the 93 semi-finals

Tmac miracle is my number one spot..I remember watching the scoreboard on IRC clutchchat and I didn't believe what had happened until ESPN put up the RECAP.

How about Yao's rookie year vs Spurs. He got owned in the preseason game Vs Spurs and scored a big fat donut (zero points), but came back in the regular game and dominated the twin towers to the tune of 27 p 18 r , including a tip dunk near the end of the game to seal the game.

Anyone remember Sleepy Floyd's buzzer beater 3 to beat the Spurs? Must have been around '89 or '90.

Yeah, how sad is it that the best moment for a Spurs fan is a blown call?

Dream destroying Robinson after he was awarded the MVP trophy during the playoffs does.

That wasn't so much a moment as it was a.. well.. "part" of our history with them?

A moment would be like a singular play or a memorable game performance.. not an entire series..

If I had to pick a moment from that series it would be the ridiculous dream shake that will haunt D-rob forever:

Hardly a 'singular moment', but that was great, no doubt, although not 'unexpected' since I knew Dream was twice the player D-Rob was.

Now "13 in 35"...THAT was unexpected and couldn't have been predicted by anyone. THAT was miraculous.

Here's a yousendit link. Depending upon demand, a re-up might be in order...
