Try to comprehend what I said. He. Doesn't. Take. Three. Point. Shots. He's attempted 98 in his career, a LOW amount for guard. Hell, Kevin Garnett attempted more 3's in a year than what Wade has in his career.
I understood you very well the first time. Try to comprehend what I am saying: The reason he doesn't take them is because he knows he can't make them. I applaud him for knowing his limitations. He only takes threes as a last resort i.e. when he's wide open and the defender backs off 7 feet and dares him to shoot it. If you shoot 29% on wide open threes, you shouldn't take them. It takes strict discipline to only do the things he's best at (driving and/or dishing) and that's why he's such a very good player. Like I said, the focus of this thread was supposed to be our franchise player, but everybody seems to want to talk about a player on another team. I just mentioned the Wade airball, because it seemed funny that an uncontested professional baller would shoot it three feet long and two feet wide.
you're right shaq carried that team out of the first round, oh that's right he barely played. edit: Miami got out of the first round his rookie year. I know he maybe a overrated but you have to give the guy credit, he's a team leader more than anything else and he plays a complete game. The ONLY thing he lacks is range and even with that he at least knows his limits and shot an impressive fg%.
