Has anyone sat courtside (feet on the court) for a Rockets game? I'm curious to know if it was worth the money.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you actually buy those courside seats??? Everytime I go to ticketmaster or on the Rockets sight I never get an option for them. I thought you always had to know someone to get those seats because they are bought out every season. If you can buy them I would LOVE to know how or how much they cost.

When I've bought tickets through broker I've been offered those seats. I'm sure you have to look hard, but I bet they're avalible. I was just curious to see if anyone had ever at there for a game.

I have a few times in the late '90s at the Summit, but they were through a friend of a friend at 740am. The tickets just said "VIP" on them, I sat right behind the opposing player's bench. I sat behind Kenny Smith when he was on Denver. :D And I have no idea if you can buy them. At the most I would pay $200 for that experience (regular season game), but I don't have a lot of money. :D

if you want to buy courtside seats - you have to call the ticket office or walk up to the box office - usually day of game. the ones which aren't part of season tickets are usually on hold until the day before the game or day of game

off the top of my head (which is probably a bit off) - the ones courtside next to the benches are $1,500 per game and the ones courtside across from the press table are $750 per game.

    those figures are probably wrong.

I've had them show up online before, just look the night/morning before a game and some come open. I believe they were 500 bucks for about 2-3 rows back.

I was courtside for 2 games last year. Game 1 for the Sacremento Game and I had the luxury of being on the Rockets offensive side when Charlie Ward hit those Threes. The game was un real from there. I got to see myself on video when i rewatched the tape.

The second time i was courtside directly behind the Dallas Mavericks Bench when we blew them out by like 30 towards the end of the season. That was a lot of fun listening to the coaches talk and i was 2 seats away from Cuban.

They were definently worth it. (FREE) lol

I have pictures from both games. All my life i thought abuot buying tickets to courtside at least once but i got lucky enough to get 2 games and not pay.

Any idea, though, since you've had them, of how much those tickets cost, Stack?

By the way, I had never been at Live on a Friday night, and I was there with friends (Rey, Eric, Matt, Lorenzo, et.al.) in the back room and then stayed for Karaoke, Stack24. I haven't had that much alcoho... I mean, FUN, in a while. The waitresses were especially courteous and amicable at the wee hours of the night. Kudos again on a great place to enjoy the evening with my wife.
