Just when you think racism is on a downward slope
Bryant Gumble shows you how Europe does it ..

    Monkey Chants
    Throwing Bananas
    Using the N-word

They even had a sign saying something to the effect
    Auschwets is alive . . the Ovens are your home . . . .

I'm telling. . .They serve GORMET RACISM over there

Agreed. No doubt, some of the ugliest human natures are often getting exposed, uninhibited, by fans' zealotry in competitive sports, especially with European soccer hooligans.

Some people will use anything to justify their actions. Hopefully these people will wake up and realize what they are doing.

The funny thing is that European countries are always pointing fingers at the US and calling us "uncivilized" and they let this type of crap occur at every freaking sporting event. We have our share of problems, but I know as a white guy if I was at a Texans or Stros game and saw someone doing crap like mentioned above they'd get a face full of fist from me and plenty of other whites sitting around.

    we call you unciviliced??

this is a problem with soccer that has been here for years. racism is not even the biggest problem with soccer hooligans. (in holland there have been some death during hooligan fights). It is terrible that some people do these kind of things.

However i would like to point out that this is a very small group.(soccer hooligans are idiots that do not have anything to do with soccer, it are just people who want to be idiots). but still they are idiots.

Racism exists and it'll always exist.

Racism against blacks, whites, asians, and hispanics. Not surprised at all. Even if all the races merged into a single race, there will exists prejudices against short, fat, stupid, and ugly people, I'm sure.

Just finished watching this on HBO and that was really sad. What I find funny about the racist idiots is that they always make these most ignorant analogies. The one I heard was when Gumble asked the leader from the U.K.'s group what makes a black person who is born in the U.K. different from a white person born in the U.K. The racist leader responds well if a dog is born in a stable does that make it a horse? If you can't see the ignorance in that statement then oh well... What I found really appaling was that one players actually saluted back one of these groups after and game and they showed pictures of it. Sick...

In some ways I think Europeans have a harder time dealing with racism in their own societies because they've never had the equivalent of a civil rights movement. Also their sense of history and uniqueness of their cultures makes it very difficult to integrate immigrants into their societies.
