Does anyone have any clue as to the terms of his buy-out? I recall hearing about this earlier this week. I hope that Les Alexander at least saved a few hundred thousand dollars with this move.
COME ON FOLX You know the truth . .. . HOW LONG UNTIL HE IS A KNICK Come on Isiah . . . . Show me to be a Prophet Rocket River
Why couldn't we have traded Baker for Rafer? You can't tell me Toronto wouldn't have dumped Rafer's contract, if we didn't seem so desperate.
A few of you corrected me on what I said. You are right, I wasn't thinking. My fault. It could possibly help to have a guy like Baker. Still though, I think it's more important to just go ahead and add a younger player now with some potential, then to keep Baker and HOPE to trade him.
We still have Mooch and Wesley expiring, IIRC. That's between 6-8 million and each already has a replacement so-to-speak.
But I don't think it's guaranteed yet. At least I haven't heard anything of the sort. Although it does seem like he's the best bet to make it on the roster.
actually, i dont think he was chemisty killer, he looked like he had fun being on the bench. Him and Moochie always lead the chants in hudles and whenever they did the "3" sign, he was always the first one to symbolize it on the bench. Sad to see him go, but he is just washed up goods. I was hoping for a McDyessesque comeback, but that didnt happen.
Here's hoping he can make a quality comeback. Joke all you want, but anyone who's experienced alcoholism personally or in the family knows its a tough thing to deal with. Its not about how much money or how high profile a guy is. Best of luck to him.
