Try BW3 on 6th street. I never watched any games there when i lived there, so i'm not sure if it's anything like it is down here.
BW3, which is now Buffalo Wild Wings, is a pretty good place to go. I've heard Ringers on Colorado and 5th is pretty cool too. I'll probably be over at BWW tomorrow for the game. The Tavern on Lamar and 12th is cool too.
There is typically a small crowd of loyalists at the Posse East (San Jac and Duval, across the street from campus).
The old BW3's is now called "Daddy's"...the food is awful and it doesn't pull the crowds it once did. Ringers on Colorado is a great place to watch the game, tons of TV's, really good food...if you can look past the loud, drunk, yuppies who are more interested in hooking up than watching the game. The Tavern at 12th @ Lamar usually has a good gathering of 'Stros fans as well. I may try Schultz's this evening. They have a good happy hour, and the backroom with the big screen will likely be a good place to watch the game with fellow fans while getting away from the regular Thur. drinking crowd.
ATX is currently BW3's free. The "old" BW3's on 6th still has the same ownership, but they chose to pull out of their franchise contract...so they had to get a new menu w/ new food, sauces, etc. The result wasn't good IMO.
Yeah, I just found out it had changed, yesterday when I tried to go watch the game. Had a look around and ended up coming back home and watching it from the couch.
