just google for the 2000 Pre-Draft Camp measurements im sure u could find it but anyway its not a big problem if he is 6'7 hes proven he can play PF and C in the NBA already
Hey, look everybody, someone actually believed the official listed heights of players! Ah, I wish I could go back to the days when I was as naive. Seriously though, since inches are added for all players, this revelation doesn't mean anything. Do you really think Amare is 6'10" and Ben Wallace is 6'9"? Is Peja really 6'10"? My point is, on the court, Stro's height is not below average for a PF. Also, I know for a fact that Juwan is shorter than Tmac, so this is a step up.
Sto is actually thrusting forward in that picture, so his height is diminished by about three-four inches.
Last I heard T-Mac was 6'8, Stromile was 6'9. The thing about Stro is that his wingspan is almost as much as Yao's and he can jump through the building. For Garnett, I was under the impression that he was around 7'1 but was listed shorter because he didn't want people to pressure him into playing center.
I read the same article... Duncan and Garnett said something like, "maybe they'll list your real height now," and they both said 6 10'.
What I don't like about the mesurements is that they perform them once at the beginning of a player's career. Tracy is a legit 6'9", but they haven't changed his profile since he came into the league. He was 18 years old when he was drafted by Toronto. He could have very well grown 1 or 2 inches since then. And there's no way he's only 210 pounds. After the bulk he added this summer in the upper body, I say he's 230lbs of muscle.
i agree completely with macfan its rare to see a players bio changed much over his career. does anyone still think Lebron is only 6'8? in reality T-mac prolly grew to about 6'10 but how often is he out there measuring himself? It only matters at the beginging of a career when there are not numbers to base their future production on. if it all the sudden came out that yao was only 7'3 and tmac was 6'5 would they have less productive years?
That's what truly bothers me. When a player contest a shot and get dunked on, he gets ridiculed as if he just peed in from of the whole world. When a player runs away from a dunk, nothing is made out of it. However, in Shawn Bradley's case, he tried to contest the shot, and changed his mind in mid-air and tried to get out of the way. It was then too late, and he got posterized by TMac. Yeah... he should be ridiculed.
