Say its not so ...OH THE PAIN THE PAIN ...what are the Rocks going to do now ...they just lost 1 of the WORST FRIGGING PLAYERS TO EVER PLAY for them
HOUSTON – The Houston Rockets have waived 12-year veteran forward Vin Baker, General Manager Carroll Dawson announced today. Baker (6-11, Hartford) holds career averages of 15.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 783 games with Milwaukee, Seattle, Boston, New York and Houston. He joined the Rockets along with “Moochie” Norris via a trade with the Knicks on Feb. 24, 2005, in exchange for Maurice Taylor. Baker averaged 0.7 points, 0.7 rebounds and 4.3 minutes in three games with Houston. Overall last season, Baker averaged 1.3 points, 1.4 rebounds and 7.6 minutes in 27 games with New York and Houston.
so by my count we should have one spot available now. yao-deke stro-jho-baxter tmac-barry-bowen wesley-da-head skip-sura-moochie with 3 guys invited to camp that dont have garanteed contracts. maybe one of them will make the team now. or maybe jwill will be signed?
Expiring contracts are only helpful if someone actually WANTS that player,...in this case I don't think trading him would have helped us much. Maybe we could trade him to Dallas,....for the Cowboys 7th round pic
