I think Rafer will bring that same type of intensity and energy that Cassell brought to the Rockets. What are ya'll thoughts on this?
Too early too tell. Cassell was/is clutch. The bigger the game, better he plays. I just dont see Rafer in the same mold.
Rafer's been in the playoff's once? with Miami? (I'm really asking) From what I've seen from him in the series with Dallas he looked pretty clutch. However it will take him a while to live up to what Cassell did, if at all.
My hope for Rafer is that with his passing and ball handling skills, he can have a Steve Nash like effect on the Rockets. It dosent hurt to dream does it?
exactly how i see it. with all these scoring options, his assists should go way up. rox will be tough to handle.
yeah... thats just a regular season game... miami played charlotte i think... im not sure... where wade made that series winning shot... then played indiana and lost in 6 games... and i think cassell was a much better player when he was rafer's age... but rafer's skill (good passing and ballhandling) should complement yao and tmac... and he can hit the occasional three... we all know the ball's either gonna end up in tmac's or yao's hand during clutch situations... but who knows... i only saw one clip of him (the one against dallas)... so i dont really know about the clutch part... might have been just one of those nights for him...
