Just bought the album last Wednesday, and I must say that these guys have to be some of the most talented musicians this side of King Crimson. Dont be fooled by all of the cookie cutter crap-metal you hear on the radio these days. The complexity of the rythym section is amazing, and the guitars seem to weave in and out of all of the odd time signatures. Truly a beautiful album for anyone who appreciates good music. ------------------ "We make more, but we spend more." Patrick Ewing

It is a pretty good album, Drewdog, but I am still waiting for some of the songs to grow on me. Personally, right at this moment, I am enjoying the new Megadeth album much much more. ------------------ Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
Yeah I heard that their new album is alot heavier than there more recent stuff. I may have to check a few songs out. I havent really listened to them since 1993.... ------------------ "We make more, but we spend more." Patrick Ewing
I've been listening to "Aenima" a lot lately trying to decide if I want to get the new one, and it always goes south for me right at song #7. That song is a piece of trash. Then after that one, nothing really grabs me either. If they had stopped "Aenima" after the first 4 full songs, I'd be a lot more pumped about this new record. ------------------ Rock Rock Til You Drop
Tool and Weezer both have new cd's I need to go out and get. I have no clue why haven't gone out, I guess I've been too busy looking for a job... ------------------ I refuse to use smiley's in my posts, you'll just have to figure out how serious I am on your own... Yep BGM Weezer is a recommendation of mine as well. Very clean and more like the first album.....good catchy songs. When the hell are they coming back to Texas???? ------------------ "We make more, but we spend more." Patrick Ewing
I'm not hearing Maynard on this CD. The vocals seem to be less emphasized on this effort. It's a good one though. Definitely one of my favorite newer bands. The Marvelous 3 does what Weezer tries to do much better, BTW.
